Today, I hit 50 followers on my blog so I would just like to start by saying thank you to everyone who has ever read one of my blog posts.
When I started out blogging, I never really expected anybody to be interested in my ramblings, and it makes me so happy that there are people out there who enjoy what I do. So a big, massive thank you to all of you! 50 may not seem like a lot to some, but to me it’s amazing!
On to today’s blog post. I met with my friend for lunch to give her some birthday presents, and afterwards we decided to head to the garden centre to have a little look around.
The centre was divided in to sections: the plant and garden area, the gift shop area and the pet area. We went through the plant area quite quickly because we were both more interested in the other areas!
The gift shop area had a collection of tiny scented candles, and we spent a while sniffing all the samples! My favourite was the pink lemonade and the Christmas spice – yum!
In the pet section we found some small furries, mainly hamsters and gerbils. We also found the aquatics sections which had an adorable axolotl – I love their smiley little faces!
I’d never actually been to (or heard of) this garden centre before but I definitely think I’ll be going there again at some point!
