For today’s blog post, I wanted to post something light-hearted. Last January, I posted a ‘Get to know me‘ post, where I answered some questions. This year, I’ve decided to do something similar, but instead of answering regular questions, I’m answering the questions that nobody asks. Let’s jump straight in!
1) If you could choose, what time would you go back to?
To be honest, I’m quite happy in this time! If I had to though, I would probably go back to when I was a child, just so I could appreciate the stress-free life a bit more the second time around.
2) The power to communicate with animals or the power to communicate with plants?
Well this is a tough one. I imagine a tree that has been around for hundreds of years would have a lot of interesting stories to tell. But at the same time, I would like to know what my cats are thinking when they’re deliberately being naughty. I’m going to go with animals!
3) Have you ever conquered a fear?
My only big fear is flying, and I wouldn’t really say I’ve fully conquered it. Put it this way, I can get on a plane if I absolutely have to, but expect tears for the entire journey and me mentally preparing myself for imminent death. I’m not fun to fly with.
4) Biggest pet peeve?
Rude customers! It costs nothing to be polite and add a ‘please’ or ‘thank you’ when you’re asking for something. What winds me up even more are those people who place their items on the till and immediately hold out their money. Slow down, I haven’t even scanned it yet!
5) Which movies could you watch over and over again and not get bored of?
I reckon I would get bored of all of my favourite movies if I watched them over and over again! But I think I could watch ‘About Time’ a fair few times before I do. I love everything about that film.
6) When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
What didn’t I want to be? I wanted to be a vet, an author, a musician, a zoo keeper, a marine biologist, the list goes on!
7) Have you ever had dance lessons?
When I was very young I had ballet and tap dancing lessons, but I quit when my sister did. When I was in primary school I had morris dancing lessons, it’s not something I’m particularly proud of now, but at the time it was fun!
8) Are you like your zodiac sign?
Yes, I’m a typical Pisces in every way.
9) Who would you bring back from the dead?
My Great Auntie Queenie. When she passed, I was a young teenager and I would love the opportunity to talk to her again now that I’m an adult.
10) If you could choose one Disney princess to be your best friend, who would it be?
Ariel! Who doesn’t want a mermaid as a best friend?
Why not have a go at answering these questions yourself? Let me know so I can read your responses!
