I can’t believe we’re already one month in to 2017 (that means only 11 months until Christmas!) I think that the end of the month is a good time to do some reflecting and set some goals for the coming month.
January for me was basically me stressing about my driving test and breaking New Years resolutions. I’ve always been a bit of a worrier and my driving test was no exception. Luckily for me though, I passed! So that’s one massive weight lifted and I can put it all behind me. As a well done present, my mum bought me some dashboard buddies:
1) Treacle Moon
I adore these shower gels, they honestly smell good enough to eat! The marshmallow one has always been a favourite of mine so I knew I would love the cookie dough too. They make every shower that little bit more luxurious!
2) Tropic SkinCare
I’ve been using Tropic for about three months now and I have to say I love it. I never had a skin care routine before and I never realised how bad that really was. Just using these products each morning and night has made my skin silky smooth, it also smells quite lemon-y, which I really like – it wakes me up in the morning!
3) New Make-up
New in my cat-bag this month is a whipped cream foundation and a mascara with brushes for both upper and lower lashes. The foundation is fast becoming a favourite of mine, it feels more like a moose and once it’s on I can barely feel it.
The mascara is really great too. It’s nice to use a different brush for different lashes – they really stand out.
1) Make a vlog
I’ve been blogging for a while now and I quite like the idea of making a vlog. I think I would enjoy filming little bits and bobs and editing it to make a little video.
2) Couch to 5K
I’ve recently downloaded this app on my phone which does exactly what it says on the tin – try to get you from the couch to running 5K in 16 weeks. I’d like to get good at running, especially since I’m doing pretty muddy in June for Cancer Research. I think this app will help so I’d like to get the first two weeks done in February.
That’s about it. Goodbye January, hello February!
